About Pūblico Restaurant & Mezcaleria

The Kitchen

The kitchen builds every dish around the freshest Aegean seafood, sourced daily from the local market: prawn ceviche, soft-shell crab tacos, charred octopus, whole grilled fish with Mexican-spiced crust. Every tortilla is pressed by hand. Every salsa is made from scratch.

Our Story

Located in the heart of Mykonos Town's Old Quarter, steps from the legendary old port, Pūblico sits in a space with over four decades of history. For more than forty years, this was the home of the beloved Katrin Restaurant — an island institution. Today, Pūblico honours that legacy while writing its own chapter.

Founded by Edgaras Gaidamavicius (ex-Zuma London) and Antonina Krokhina, Pūblico was built on a single conviction: that authentic Mexican cuisine — handmade corn tortillas, open flame cooking, bold Baja California flavours — deserved a home in the most beautiful setting in the Aegean.

The Mezcaleria bar holds one of Greece's finest collections of artisanal mezcal and premium tequila — with an exclusive Patrón and Bacardí partnership and a cocktail programme built to match the kitchen's ambition.

Happy Hour runs daily from 15:00 to 18:30 — 2-for-1 on all cocktails. The only happy hour in Mykonos Town.
